Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Please be informed that an online meeting is planned for Thursday on how Liberty State Park can better serve the Bergen-Lafayette community.
The meeting comes after the City Council tabled a resolution supporting the Liberty State Park Protection Act with the intention of voting on it at the next meeting.
The virtual meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and will include opening remarks from Robinson and Councilman-at-large Daniel Rivera. Sam Pesin, president of the non-profit Friends of Liberty State Park, and Bruce Alston, a former senate and assembly candidate, have been invited to speak at the event.
To attend or participate in the meeting — a Q&A session is included — copy and paste https://us02web.zoom.us/wc/join/89030930437. The event will be moderated by Arnold Stovell, community liaison and development consultant of the Jackson Hill Management Special Improvement District.
