Welcome!  The Van Vorst Park Association is a community of neighbors, engaging civically and connecting socially. You’re invited to join our monthly meetings that are free and open to the public. These meetings are a space for learning, laughing and having our voices heard by local leaders. Formed in 1975, the VVPA was the first and remains one of the largest neighborhood associations in Jersey City. Today, we continue our mission by advocating for our community, bringing awareness of important issues and sharing events. We create opportunities for people to have fun, work together and make a difference in our neighborhood.  The VVPA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 with an all-volunteer board.
